Event Title Notes

× The Schauer Youth & Children’s Choirs and Schauer Youth String Orchestra will perfiorm traditional and contemporary tunes for the entire family to enjoy, including selections by J.S. Bach, Susan H. Day, Merle J. Isaac, and Rimsky-Korsakov. The Orchestras will combine to perform Pocahontas, and the Choirs and Orchestras will combine to perform a finale of Our America.

The Children’s Choir, under the direction of Abby Bordak, is composed of 12 students in grades 5K-2. The Youth Choir, which is made up of 14 students in grades 3-8, is under the direction of Lori Hassig. Schauer Youth String Orchestra consists of Presto Strings and Bravura Strings, under the direction of Phil Scales. The Presto Strings is made up of four students and Bravura Strings has nine students.

Following the concert there will be a complimentary reception in the Schauer Center’s Pikes Peak banquet room. The audience is invited to meet the performers, instructors, and to learn more about the choir and orchestra program offerings.

TICKETS: $5 for adults, $2 for children/students
