Celebrate 15 years of "developing, supporting, and promoting the arts" at the Schauer Center with a comedic performance by Milwaukee's own John McGivern. The fun-filled event begins at 6:00 pm in the Art Gallery with a cash bar, silent auction, wine pull, and appetizers by Skyline Catering. Following cocktail hour, enjoy a plated dinner in Pikes Peak featuring garden greens with balsamic vinaigrett e, chicken cordon blue, garlic parmesan mashed potatoes, and honey orange glazed carrots. Vegetarian/gluten free option available. The evening finishes with dessert, coffee, and the light-hearted humor of John McGivern.
McGivern is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work on PBS and is a veteran of the Schauer Center stage. His one-man-shows The Early Stories of John McGivern, Midsummer Night McGivern, and John McGivern’s Home For The Holidays share his personal stories about what it means to be the third child born into an Irish Catholic family of six. John is proud to have been part of We’re Funny That Way on HBO and Out There II on Comedy Central. He was seen sitting next to Sally Field on Politically Incorrect and knighted by Julie Andrews in the hit film The Princess Diaries.
Tickets are $100 per person and include a $55 donation; sponsored tables of eight may be purchased for $1,000. Seating is limited. The Schauer Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
