Wine & Art Event

Location: Schauer Center - Upstairs Art Gallery
Tuition: $35 Per Session
Includes all supplies & one beverage (Beer, soda, wine, cocktails - Cash bar following your complimentary drink)
We will be painting two holiday wine glasses. Design options include holly leaves, lights or a Christmas tree - on either red or white wine glasses. We're also offering the option of painting a wine bottle to match. All bottles have labels removed and holes drilled - ready to become a Christmas lamp. We have a few sets of white and multi color lights, but if you'd like to bring along a string of your own, please feel free to do so. Strings should be LED strands with 20-50 lights. Both plug-in and battery opperated work. You can use incandescent, but they get quite hot bunched up in the bottle. You can use any color lights - bottles are frosted white, amber or dark green. (One Note: it takes a bit of work to get 50 lights in the bottle.) As another bonus, we're also making Christmas tree-shaped ornaments out of wine corks & baubles. If you'd like to decorate yours with sentimental buttons or tiny baubles, please bring them along. If you don't have time to complete an ornament, you may take the corks home, along with how-to instructions. Wine glasses will be dishwasher safe when completely cured - bottle lamps should not go in the dishwasher...

Wine & Art is a great way to have fun, relax, and socialize while creating a beautiful piece of art. Absolutely NO experience is necessary and all supplies are included. Whether you are an experienced artist or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a masterpiece that is uniquely yours.
